![]() Taking a call from a supplier in the 'temporary office' while, inside the shop, floors are stripped and sanded, shelving is built and walls painted. Less than two weeks to go now, and the pace is picking up. There's an ever-growing list of things to do and decisions to be made about ... well, everything from critical matters such as the colour of the studio floor to the more mundane issue of draft proofing the ancient leaded windows at the back of the property. (If you do have a chance to look around the corner, you'll see that the back of the shop is absolutely lovely.) It's hectic but so exciting, and the good news is that we're on track to open on Saturday 8 October as planned. If you can't wait until then, you'll find us at the Autumn Fair in the Town Hall this Saturday running a rag rugging workshop. Come along for a taster session and the opportunity to start your own rug
