Bea models her new capelet, made with Louisa Harding's new Luiza fur-style yarn and Debbie Cashmerino Aran for the collar.
It's incredibly soft and has a super-luxurious feel, attracting much favourable comment from other knitters at the Wednesday night knit group.
Linda Irving Bell brought her re-styled Debbie Bliss cardigan in today for us to see how easy it is to change your mind when including motifs. No more teddies...lots of bunnies.
And another quilter is born ... this lovely picture and message arrived from Ann today. She too had been part of our August quilting residential.
Many thanks for hosting the superb 3 day intensive quilt making workshop. I enjoyed the time spent sewing, learning and having fun. As you can see, I have a finished quilt. Quite an accomplishment for a novice quilt maker who had never done any patchwork previously. Kerry was an excellent teacher, she knew so much but managed to make it seem easy, and we were looked after so well by the ladies from the shop throughout the three days.
I'm now planning my next quilt.
