![]() Taking a call from a supplier in the 'temporary office' while, inside the shop, floors are stripped and sanded, shelving is built and walls painted. Less than two weeks to go now, and the pace is picking up. There's an ever-growing list of things to do and decisions to be made about ... well, everything from critical matters such as the colour of the studio floor to the more mundane issue of draft proofing the ancient leaded windows at the back of the property. (If you do have a chance to look around the corner, you'll see that the back of the shop is absolutely lovely.) It's hectic but so exciting, and the good news is that we're on track to open on Saturday 8 October as planned. If you can't wait until then, you'll find us at the Autumn Fair in the Town Hall this Saturday running a rag rugging workshop. Come along for a taster session and the opportunity to start your own rug

Our local night time raids of knitted loveliness are to remain in Chippy..what good news. Our new shop has a perfect example placed around the door...lets hope it brings luck to the refurbishment and is the start of many more gems for the town to admire...thank you Yarn Bomber xx
