It's all hands to the deck here in preparation for our Fibre Festival and Kaffe Fassett celebration this Saturday. Cakes have been baked, banners sorted, name badges written, quilting completed and knitting (almost) completed. Customer-made Kaffe designs are starting to arrive for our exhibition and two huge boxes of quilts from his books have turned up on loan from the very kind people at Rowan.
The lecture with Kaffe will take place in the Theatre at 2pm but even if you don't have tickets, there will still be plenty of see at our street festival outside the shop here in Middle Row - alpacas, spinning, local makers, the History Society with tweeds from Bliss Mill, a vintage tea van and more. The Festival will run from 10am until 5pm, so we look forward to seeing you there. Here's a little taster of things to come ... |
